Contract Manager - KSA Job - Robert Walters

 

An exciting and challenging position has become available at a leading global construction company for a suitably qualified individual to fulfill the role of Contract Manager.

Responsibilities include:

- Organise, manage & control the contracts function within the Company
- Establish procurement & contracting practices, procedures & reference documentation, with due regard for local & legislative requirements
- Ensure compliance with the Company policy
- Participate in complex & difficult negotiations associated with award, performance & amendment of contracts
- Assist other company departments with advice and/or intervention
- Actively follow relevant markets, gathering & using information received, & developing market information systems to provide up-to-date details of both market conditions and contractors/suppliers
- Liaise with accounts and head of department to solve payments problems.
- Proactively coordinate, build and maintain relationships with suppliers in order to secure positive, constructive and cost effective commercial agreements for the Company
- Ensure reporting to head office as required in connection with the contracts function
- Participate in the job specification, competence assessment & recruitment processes for personnel required to perform the contracts function
- Apply Company's Health, Safety and Environment Policy and Safety Management System
